Rizal Province now under lockdown

Rizal Province is now under lockdown to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The lockdown has been effective at 8AM, Monday, April 6, where only residents of Rizal can enter.

The exemption includes health workers, government workers, employees of supermarkets, food preparation, transport delivery services, media personnel, and other exemptions in accordance with the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) guidelines.

Checkpoints are strictly implemented while cargo trucks with food and medical supplies can still enter the province.
