By Paul Jaysent Fos/PIA

The provincial government of Romblon released an executive order on August 6 that eases the travel restriction of incoming fully vaccinated individuals.

In an approved EO of Governor Jose Riano, fully vaccinated individuals will undergo only seven days mandatory facility quarantine, provided that they will not exhibit symptoms within the given period.

Meanwhile, unvaccinated individuals will still undergo mandatory 14 days quarantine at the municipal-designated quarantine facility, with the option to undergo RT-PCR swab test or saliva test on the sixth day of arrival at their own expense.

Non-APOR (authorized persons outside residences) or returning Romblomanon from areas outside the province are required to present a notice of coordination from the LGU of destination and RT-PCR Negative test or saliva test result if he/she is coming from areas with high prevalence of COVID-19 cases.

For APORs, a notice of coordination from the LGU of destination shall be presented together with a negative RT-PCR test/saliva test result taken within 72 hours, the itinerary of travel, identification card, negative RAT upon arrival, and vaccination card if applicable.

Repatriated OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) or returning overseas Filipinos who have completed their 14-day mandatory quarantine as certified by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) shall be granted unimpeded entry to the final LGU destination. (PJF/PIA Mimaropa) -rir
