No casualties were reported on the side of the government forces. Fatalities on the part of the NPA are still being determined by the PNP.

Authorities recovered at the encounter sites one unit M16 Elisco rifle with defaced serial number; one improvised homemade double zero shotgun; two long steel M16 magazines; one short steel M16 magazine; one KG9 magazine; one silencer suppressor; one chest rig; thirty-five rounds 5.56 live ammunitions; eight rounds KG9 live ammunitions; three 12 gauge shotgun ammunition and one ISO back pack.

“The communist terrorists do not show any respect for the sacredness of the Holy Week and will continue with their unChristian criminal activities,” PNP Chief PGen. Debold Sinas said.

SAF troopers continue to perform their operation and are now moving to their next target in keeping with their duty to maintain peace and security.

“The PNP is duty-bound to protect the Filipino people and the country from the relentless terror plots of the Communist Groups. We will continue to hunt them down and we will never tolerate their utter disregard of the rule of law,” PGen. Sinas vowed.
