Safety seal certification, igagawad sa mga establisyimentong makakapagpatupad ng safety at health protocols

Isang mall sa Quezon City, ginawaran ng Safety Seal Certification dahil sa mahigpit na pagpapatupad nito sa mga itinakdang COVID-19 safety at health protocols ng pamahalaan.

Ito ay sang-ayon sa joint memorandum circular sa pagitan ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Health (DOH), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na magbigay ng Safety Seal Certification sa mga establisyimento upang mabalanse ang ekonomiya at kalusugan sa gitna ng COVID-19.

Sa naturang mall na ito, nasa 80% ng establisyimento nito ay nabigan na ng safety seal.

Binigyang diin ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte na patuloy ang mahigpit nilang pagbabantay sa mga business establishment sa lungsod kahit nabigyan na ito ng safety seal.

Ang hakbang na ito ay para masigurong tuloy-tuloy na naipatutupad ang safety at health protocols sa lahat ng establisyimento para sa kaligtasan ng lahat kabilang na ang mga mamimili.

Madalas din aniya ang pagsasagawa ng mga surprise inspection ang mga local government unit.

Ayon kay DTI Sec. Ramon Lopez, may karagdagang 10% allowed capacity para sa mga nagawaran na ng safety seal.
