Sandiganbayan upholds decision on Sabio’s conviction

The Sandiganbayan upholds its decision on November 2019 to convict former Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) Chairman Camilo Sabio of graft.

In the issued decision of the Anti-Graft Court, Sabio’s filing of second motion for reconsideration is considered as “prohibited pleading” or has been nullified.

Sabio was convicted on 2019 when he attempted to interfere with the case of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) versus MERALCO through his brother, former Court of Appeals Justice Jose Sabio Jr.
