Sapat na pondo para sa mga biktima ng kalamidad, tiniyak ng pamahalaan

May sapat na pondo ang pamahalaan para tugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga biktima ng nakalipas na dalawang bagyo.

Ito ang tiniyak ni National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Spokesperson Romina Marasigan kasabay ng pagsabi na sa ngayon ay hindi pa kailangan ng pamahalaan na humingi ng tulong mula sa mga foreign donors.

Sa kabila nito, sinabi ni Marasigan na hindi naman tatanggihan ng gobyerno ang anumang ayuda na ipapaabot ng ibang mga bansa kung sakali.

Ayon kay Marasigan, may nakalaan talagang budget ang national government para sa pagtama ng anumang uri ng kalamidad sa bansa, at maging ang mga local government units (LGUs) ay may mga sariling calamity funds.
