Philippine National Police Chief, Police General Debold M Sinas ordered sustained operations against a major drug distribution network that operates in Metro Manila, Cavite, and Mindanao.
He took to charge the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) under Police Brig Gen Ronald Lee to lead the offensive in thePNP anti-illegal drugs campaign.
“Our crusade against illegal drugs will continue without let-up. It is our sincerest commitment to the Filipino people to keep winning in this flagship program of the national government that we have started since 2016,” he said.
Sinas took note of the follow-up operations launched by PNP-DEG in coordination with Cavite Police Provincial Office, and Dasmarinas City Police Station that led to the arrest of RANIER RICARTO REBORIANO and JOSHUA RICARTO LEGAZPI, believed to be core operators of a Manila-Mindanao drug syndicate in operating in Cavite Province.
Police operating teams have seized three (3) kilos of crystal meth or shabu with a value of Php20,400,000 during the bust-bust operation yesterday, December 6, at Tierra Vista Subdivision, Barangay Langkaan 1, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
At the same time, seized from the suspects were the buy-bust money, one (1) unit of US carbine cal.30 firearm with two magazines, and eight (8) rounds of cal.45 ammunition.
Sinas explained, “the operation is part of more intensified and swift action of Case Operation Plan (COPLAN) Blood Stone designed to disrupt the drug distribution network of the syndicate.”
PDEG Director, Police Brigadier General Ronald Lee told the PNP Chief the operation also monitored the involvement of some Chinese drug lords conniving with local drug peddlers operating in the Metro Manila and Region 4A (CALABARZON).
A buy buy-bust operation yielded more than one kilogram of Shabu while two (2) more kilos of Shabu packed in a green foil bag with Chinese characters were found when the operating team searched the house.
ON Saturday, PNP-DEG agents arrestd earlier on Saturday two two suspects operating in the same Manila-Mindanao network who yielded eight (8) kilograms of high-grade Shabu with a street value of approximately P54.4-million.
Lee said the drug suspects are now under police custody as cases are being readied for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2020.
