SLEX Southbound toll closed to motorists starting Feb. 20

The southbound toll of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) in Alabang will be closed starting Saturday, February 20 to give way to the Skyway Extension Project.

Due to expected heavy traffic in the area, San Miguel Corporation issued alternative routes that motorists can take.

“Class 1 headed to Alabang or Alabang-Zapote Road may take Filinvest Exit Toll Plaza towards their destination. Class 1, 2 and 3 vehicles bound for Alabang, Putatan, and National Road may take the Susana Exit Toll Plaza, turn right at Susana Heights Avenue and turn either left or right on the National Road to their respective destinations.”

The company aims to finish the southbound section by June.

SMC also disclosed that it is rushing the construction of the northbound section from Susana Heights to Sucat to meet the target date of completion in March.
