Southwest monsoon brings scattered rain over Luzon Tuesday

MANILA—The southwest monsoon or habagat continues to affect northern and central Luzon on Tuesday, with light to moderate rain expected in these areas.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), in its 4 a.m. forecast said the southwest monsoon would dump scattered rain showers over the regions of Ilocos and Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon.

Metro Manila with the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 25-30 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-29 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 24-30 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-32 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 24-32 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
