Statement of Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles on the President’s visit to Negros Oriental

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited and interacted with the typhoon victims in Negros Oriental yesterday, December 29, 2021.

After assessing the damage, the President instructed the Department of Social Welfare and Development to provide the typhoon victims trapal, family food packs, kitchenware (kaldero), and financial assistance.  

The Chief Executive, meanwhile, directed the Department of Health to address the health concerns of the typhoon victims.
