LEGAZPI CITY  — Anti-narcotics operatives nabbed a suspected illegal drug pusher and seized from him PHP3 million worth of shabu or crystal meth in a buy-bust operation Wednesday night in barangay Banag, Daraga in Albay.

Nino Villanueva alias Nina or Monica, 38, was arrested at his house, said PDEA regional director Christian Frivaldo.

Frivaldo said the suspect, who did not resist arrest, is the number eight high-value target (HVT) in Albay province based on the agency’s drug watchlist.

The suspect is detained at the PDEA regional detention facility, as charges are prepared against him for violations of the Comprehensive Illegal Drug Act. (Mar Serrano/PNA)
