SUV rams thru bank, leaves one injured

A bank employee was injured after a Mitsubishi Montero SUV crashed inside a branch of the Land Bank of the Philippines along EDSA in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay, Quezon City this morning.

The incident was caught on CCTV.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), identified the victim as Aireem Marco, 44 years old.

According to the police report, the driver, Esther Peralta, a physician, was driving the vehicle in the parking lot when it accidentally accelerated towards the bank. The incident happened at about 8:05 A.M.

The injured victim was brought to East Avenue Medical Center for medical attention. The accident left the vehicle and a portion of the bank damaged. – Rod Lagusad
