DISPOSED. A total of 77 assorted improvised explosive devices purposely made as anti-personnel landmines (APMs) seized from communist terrorist groups were safely detonated in Barangay Tignapoloan, Cagayan de Oro City on Oct. 1. Maj. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., 4ID commander, said the recent disposal of the APMs was made to ensure that they will not be used anymore since it is strictly prohibited and a clear violation of the International Humanitarian Law and the Ottawa Treaty.
