Taguig PR

Tele-aral Program, a carefully crafted curriculum and new learning system promptly designed in response to the postponement of conducting physical classes, until a vaccine against COVID-19 arrives, as declared by President Roa Rodrigo Duterte.

Blended learning in Taguig dubbed as “Hybrid Modular Distance Learning” is Taguig’s education system in which students will be receiving and using Taguig-crafted modules.

Through a team of module specialists composed of former Regional Director & Superintendents of DepEd as well as manpower from Local and International schools in the city has brought the modular distance learning to the next level by improving the content and raising the standard of their primary instructional materials.

This is to ensure high quality of academic content is being given to all learners before school opens October 5, 2020.

The Telearal Center at SRCC is equipped with teachers who have undergone TECTOC training as well as training led by Call Center Supervisors, 15 phone lines for students to call, 20 additional substitute and support staff, 50 iMac desktop computers with installed communication applications, and headsets which will allow the established workflow for Modular Learning Students, Computer-aided Learning Students, and Online-Learning Students to operate efficiently.

Through easy access to a broad body of knowledge, teachers, teaching personnel, and technology, Taguig City aims to launch Taguig Tele-aral Program to highlight both quality education and importance of safety for teachers and students amidst the pandemic.
