Terrorist group armory found in Zamboanga

Philippine military personnel have discovered an armory of a communist-terrorist group in Zamboanga del Sur.

The Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) reported that the area was tipped by the members of the group who have surrendered to authorities. The seized weapons and ammunitions are now in the custody of the First Provincial Mobile Force Company.

“Together with local government units and PNP counterparts, we will continue to degrade the capabilities of the Communist Terrorist Group in Zamboanga del Sur province and promote security in the peaceful communities,” WestMinCom Commander Lt,Gen. Coleto Vinluan assured.
