Tinaguriang illegal drug personalities sa Davao City, arestado sa operasyon ng PDEA at NBI

Kinasuhan ng mga awtoridad sa Davao Region ang ikalawa at ikawalo sa priority target list ng illegal drug personalities sa Davao City matapos silang mahuli sa operasyon ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 11 (PDEA 11) at National Bureau of Investigation 11 (NBI 11).

Kinilala ang suspek na sina Ranulfo Canoy at Jeffrey Barnachea na kinasuhan ng paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Sa report ng PDEA 11, naaresto ang mga ito matapos nilang bentahan ng isang sachet ng shabu ang isang operatiba na nagpapanggap na buyer sa inilunsad na buy-bust operation sa labas ng bahay ni Canoy sa Pag-Asa Street, Sandawa, Davao City, hapon ng Pebrero 17.

Matapos mahuli ang mga suspek, agad na hinalughog ang bahay nito na pinaniniwalaang ginagamit bilang drug den kung saan nakuha ang iba pang 15 sachets ng shabu na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P225,000.

Huli rin ang mga kinilalang mga drug den visitors na sina Rodel Agopitac at Julius Jastin Arbolario kung saan naaktuhan umanong bumabatak ng shabu nang pasukin ang bahay.

Nag-ugat ang nasabing operasyon na humantong sa pagkahuli ng mga suspek matapos may magpadala ng impormasyon sa “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins” hotline ng PDEA. (Radyo Pilipinas)
