Tolentino, kumpiyansa sa PH Kickboxing team

Muling sisipa para sa bayan ang Philippine National Kickboxing Team sa paparating na 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA) Games na gaganapin sa Hanoi, Vietnam mula May 12 hanggang 23, 2022.

Mariing ipinagmamalaki ni Samahang Kickboxing ng Pilipinas President Sen. Francis Tolentino na ang kanyang 12-member team ang isa sa magbubuslo ng tagumpay sa biennial sportsfest.

“Kasama po ng sambayan ang Philippine Kickboxing team para magbigay muli ng karangalan sa bansa,” ani Tolentino sa isang pahayag.

Pinuri rin ni Tolentino ang pagiging huwaran ng bawat atletang Pilipino dahil sa kanilang sakripisyo at disiplina upang makapagbigay karangalan sa bansa, isang katangian na aniya natatanging susi ng bansa para sa kaunlaran.

“Higit sa napipintong tagumpay, ang kanilang sakrpisyo sa pagasasanay at pagpapakita ng disiplina, ay mga natatanging kaugaliang Pilipino na kailangan natin sa kaunlaran,” saad ng opisyal.

Samantala, ibabandera rin ng koponan ang bansa sa larangan ng Vovinam sa pangunguna nina SEA Games gold medalist Gina Iniong, silver medalist Jenelyn Olsim, at Zephuana Ngya para sa women’s division, habang sa men’s category naman ay sina Danny Kingan, Carlo Buminaang, at Renato Cha Jr.  – ag
