Police expanded a city-wide manhunt to other districts of Metro Manila for four persons under police custody who bolted the temporary lock-up facility of QCPD Police Station-11 in Galas, Quezon City.

Upon instructions of PNP Chief, Police General Debold M Sinas, NCRPO Chief, Police Major General Vicente Danao Jr. said tracker team have fanned out to various locations in Quezon City as well as in neighboring cities to bring the escapees back in custody.

In a report, QCPD District Director, Police Brigadier General Danilo Macerin identified the fugitives as:
1. GLENN LOUIE LIMIN y NEGRETE of Barangay 150, Bagong barrio, Caloocan City, charged for viol of RA 9165;
2. MARVIN INCIONG y RUIZON of Bgy San Isidro, Parañaque City, with Warrant of Arrest for Robbery and violation of RA 9165;
3. JOEL SANCHEZ y REYES of Bgy Tatalon, Quezon City, Robbey Hold-Up; and
4. RONALD BUENAFE y DE GUZMAN of Bgy Ttalon, QC for violation of RA 9165.

“The fact that these offenders escaped detention only shows they would rather continue to defy the law instead of submitting themselves to the jurisdiction of the justice system. As such, they may be considered dangerous and a threat to the community,” Sinas said.

“Tracker teams are advised to approach these persons with caution and not to give them any opportunity to make the first move,” he added.

At the same time, Sinas instructed Danao to maintain periodic security survey of detention facilities and temporary lock-up jails in NCR Police Stations to ensure compliance of Units to PNP standards on the upkeep, design and management of these facilities.
