TS ‘Caloy’ out of the PAR: PAGASA

MANILA — Tropical storm ‘Caloy’ (international name Jelawat) exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Tuesday evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its 24-hour forecast, Pagasa said “Caloy” is now at 1,070 kilometers east of Guian, Eastern Samar with maximum winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness up to 80 kph moving north at 10 kph.

Pagasa said there is no more threat of another storm the next three to four days of the Holy Week.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy or partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. ( Lily Ramos/PNA)
