TY Rolly leaves 20 dead in Bicol Region

Twenty people in the Bicol Region have perished at the height of Typhoon Rolly’s onslaught. Based on the latest update of the Office of Civil Defense Region 5, 14 of the deaths happened in Albay while 6 came from Catanduanes.

The numbers are still subject to confirmation by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

The NDRRMC also assessed that more than 400,000 people from 6 regions were affected by the typhoon from 6 regions. More than Php 5.6 B worth of infrastructure was destroyed, Php 4B of which happened in Region 5. – PTV News
