Typhoon Ramon began to hit Santa Ana

Following the savage landfall of the typhoon Ramon in the Municipality of Santa Ana, Province of Cagayan, which resulted in deleterious landslide and flood, nearly 7,000 residents were evacuated from the area. The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council informed that 19 towns carried out a preventive evacuation. There were also stranded passengers in the ports of Claveria and Aparri. Moreover, the provision of relief goods to afflicted individuals, spearheaded by the Philippine National Police Regional Command Cagayan Police Provincial Office and Provincial Mobile Command Force, is ongoing.
