(UPDATE) Southwest monsoon floods parts of MM

MANILA, July 27 – 9:36AM — Continuous rains brought by the southwest monsoon which was enhanced by tropical storm Gorio has caused floods in parts of Metro Manila.

In its advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said that flooding is being experienced in the following areas as of 9a.m., Thursday:

– Quirino Roxas Blvd along Taft Ave (gutter deep).

– Quezon City A Bonifacio C3 (gutter deep).

– Quezon City A Bonifacio 11th Avenue (gutter deep) passable to all types of vehicles.

-R.Papa both bound (above gutter deep). Not passable to light vehicles.

– C5 near Market Market southbound. Gutter deep. Passable to all types of vehicles.

– P. Burgos Victorino eastbound. Knee deep. Not passable to light vehicles.

– Balintawak Cloverleaf in front of St. Joseph Church northbound (knee deep). Not passable to light vehicles. (ABP/PNA)
