UPH-Molino beach spikers bag PRISAA-Cavite title

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – University of Perpetual Help-Molino clobbered Perpetual GMA (General Mariano Alvarez) to bag the men’s beach volleyball title of the 2019 Private School Athletic Association (PRISAA) Cavite meet.

Amber Gervacio, Christian Muñoz and Elmer Villamor outlasted their GMA counterparts, 21-17, in the finals at the La Salle Dasmariñas Sand Court on February 16.

Other schools participated in the PRISAA Cavite leg are De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, St. Francis of Assisi College-Bacoor and Imus Institute of Science and Technology.

With their victory, the Perpetual Molino beach spikers will represent Cavite in the PRISAA-Calabarzon Regional meet on March 14-17 also at the La Salle Dasmariñas Sand Court.

Winner of the regional elimination will advance in the 63rd PRISAA National Finals to be held in Davao City from May 19 to 24.

“Our aim now is to win the regional finals. So we’ll resume our practice right away after winning the Cavite meet,” Perpetual Molino team coach Eldee Zapanta said.
