The United States has recorded its first new Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) variant case.
A man in Colorado tested positive for the new strain of COVID-19 and is currently in isolation. It is the first recorded UK variant in the said country.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis disclosed that the man has no travel history. However, he assured that they are closely monitoring the case. Polis bared that the health officials are currently tracing the Colorado man’s close contacts.
It can be recalled that several countries have implemented a travel ban on the United Kingdom to prevent the spread of the new variant of COVID-19. -PTV News
