US VP Kamala Harris to visit Palawan 

United States Vice President Kamala Harris is set to visit Palawan, Philippines on Tuesday, Nov. 22, a senior administration official confirmed.

Harris is reportedly planning to talk to the residents of the island.

She will also meet civil society leaders and the Philippine Coast Guard to restate the significance of international law, free trade and navigation in the disputed West Philippine Sea.

Harris is the highest-ranking US official that will visit Palawan. —Report from Noel Talacay/KC-ag
