The Philippines and Singapore have settled to study the Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) as treatment for COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019).
According to Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, the sample of VCO is being prepared for transport to Singapore.
He added that an expert in the Philippines has discovered that the oil can be used against COVID-19.
Professor Doctor Fabian Dayrit said the VCO has enough evidence to prove it can defeat the disease due to the Anti-Viral agent present in the oil.
