Veteran actress Angie Ferro dies

Veteran actress Angie Ferro has passed away on Thursday, Aug. 17. She was 86.

She was born in Baleno, Masbate and known for her roles in “Lola Igna” (2019), “Nocebo” (2022), and “Ang mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan” (2023).

Ferro was named Best Actress at the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino in 2019 and Best Actress at the 7th Urduja Heritage Film Awards in 2020 for her role in “Lola Igna.”

Igna was the 1979 Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) best supporting actress for the film “Pagputi ng Uwak, Pag-itim ng Tagak.” – cf
