Volcanoes drawn in Group E of Rugby 7’s qualifier

The Philippine Volcanoes were grouped together with host, Hong Kong, as a result of the draw for the World Rugby Sevens Series Qualifier on Tuesday.

The Volcanoes and Hong Kong, two of the rising Asian national teams in rugby, were placed in Group E along with Tonga and Zimbabwe.

On the other hand, Ireland, Russia, Uruguay, and Jamaica were grouped into Group F, while Group G will be composed of Chile, Uruguay, Uganda, and Cook Islands.

The World Rugby Sevens Series Qualifier will take on April 5-7, coinciding with the Hong Kong Sevens.
