The weather bureau on Wednesday, April 19, forecast warm weather with isolated rain showers to prevail across the country.

“Generally warm weather will be experienced, with peak at around noon. Avoid going outdoors until 4:00 p.m.,” Obet Badrina of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

PAGASA forecast the temperature in the country to range from 26°C to 34°C.

Isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms are expected. PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail in the entire archipelago.

Badrina said no low-pressure area was seen to affect the country. There is a slim chance of having a tropical cyclone until the end of April, he said. – gb
