Zambo City gov’t employees to receive P25K incentive

ZAMBOANGA CITY — Local government employees here are expected to receive an additional cash incentive this December.

Geraldine dela Paz, acting city budget officer, said Wednesday the additional PHP25,000 for each employee is provided through the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA).

Dela Paz said the CNA incentive is based on the level of savings and performance of employees for the year.

The savings comes from traveling expenses, communication expenses, repairs and maintenance, transportation and delivery expenses, supplies and materials, and utility expenses without hampering the operation of the office.

She said that some 2,500 local government employees are expected to receive the CNA incentive, including regular, casual, contractual employees, department heads, and city councilors.

Dela Paz said to qualify for the incentive, the employee must have been working for the city government for four months as of Oct. 31, 2018. The employee should also still be in service as of this date.

The CNA incentive will be released not earlier than Dec. 15, and is on top of the year-end bonus and cash gift.
