₱780,000-worth of suspected shabu seized in 2 QC buy-bust ops

Police personnel seized ₱780,000-worth of suspected shabu in two separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City last Saturday night.

In a joint buy-bust operation by Galas and Talipapa Police Stations in Don Segundo St., San Agustin Village in Barangay Talipapa at about 9:40PM, operatives nabbed a high value target identified as Marvin Sigua, 45.

Confiscated from him were 75 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱510,000.

An informant tipped the cops about the illegal drug activities of the suspect which resulted in his arrest.

About two hours later, the Fairview Police Station arrested two drug suspects in another buy-bust operation.

Police conducted the operation along Fairlane St., Barangay Greater Fairview at about 11:45PM.

QCPD Director Police Brigadier General Danilo Macerin identified the suspects as Almanzor Utto alias “Kulot”, 27 and Alberto Ramos, 51.

Recovered from them were 40 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱272,000.

The three suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.  —Rod Lagusad
