1,490 pass June 2017 architecture board exam

MANILA, June 29 — A total of 1,490 out of 2,679 examinees passed the June 2017 Architecture Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday.

Jefferson Ventura, an alumnus of St. Louis University in Baguio, topped the examination with a rating of 84.70 percent.

Aldous Olbes from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila placed second with 84.30 percent while Judy Larin from Bulacan State University garnered third place with 82.90 percent.

Fourth in the list is Marion Lyndon Demaisip from University of Mindanao-Davao City with 82.80 percent while in fifth place are Patrick Pantillano from the Technological University of the Philippines, Daniel Dico and George Mañapao Jr., both from the University of San Carlos, with 82.60 percent.

Ateneo De Davao University alumna Charisse Jheline Ang and Levy Canaleta, also from Saint Louis University placed sixth with 82.50 percent while Carmela Dawn Linarez from University of Santo Tomas placed seventh with 82.40 percent.

In eighth place are John Vergel Navarette from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University and Ria Angelica Zamudio from De La Salle University-College Of Saint Benilde, both with 82.30 percent.

University of the Philippines-Diliman alumnus Rod Kevin Gonzales placed ninth at 82.10 percent while in tenth place are Ayana Isabel Kasilag, also from UP Diliman, and Felix Angel Pascual, from the University of La Salette-Santiago, with 82 percent.

The University of Santo Tomas was named the top performing school in the examination with 184 passed out of 221 examinees, recording a passing rate of 83.26 percent.

The examination was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi.

The PRC said that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certification of Registration will be done online at www.prc.gov.ph from July 10 to 14.

The commission has yet to announce the date and venue of the oath taking of the successful examinees. (PNA)
