18,529 nurses pass licensure exam

A total of 18,529 out of 24,903 takers passed the Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Abigail Garganta Ramirez from Saint Paul University-Dumaguete topped the licensure examination followed by Jezrel Cabasis Alijid and Emmanuel John Dorado Aggabao, both from West Visayas State University- La Paz.

The licensure examination was given by the Board of Nursing in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, IloIlo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The registration for the issuance of Professional identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done on Jan. 9 to 13, Jan. 16 to 20, and Jan. 23 to 27.

According to PRC, the date and venue for the oath taking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later. –gb
