2 out of 3 repatriates test negative with COVID-19

Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III has confirmed two of three repatriates in New Clark City have tested negative with COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019).

According to Sec. Duque, two of the repatriates had bouts of strep throat, while the other one experienced coughing, but the three did not have a fever.

They are confined in a hospital in Pampanga, and after the completion of their test results, the three repatriates will return to New Clark City to complete the 14-day quarantine.

Secretary Duque has guaranteed the repatriates are in good condition and are monitored closely.

The five hospitals near the quarantine facility are also prepared to accept patients if they show any symptoms of COVID-19.
