About 29% of Filipinos said quality of life got better in the past 12 months, according to the latest poll released by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Meanwhile, 25% said it got worse compared to a year ago.

The March 2023 survey also found 51% of Filipino families rated themselves as “poor,” 30% rated themselves as “borderline,” and 19% rated themselves as “not poor.”

“Filipino families self-rated as ‘poor’ [were] steady at 51% since December 2022,” SWS noted.

The poll was conducted from March 26 to 29 among 1,200 adults nationwide.

Thirteen percent of the respondents are from Metro Manila, 45% from Balance Luzon, 19% from the Visayas, and 23% from Mindanao.
