669 Region 9 policemen promoted

ZAMBOANGA CITY — Six-hundred sixty-nine newly-promoted uniformed personnel based in this region on Monday took their oath in the presence of their loved ones in a simultaneous mass oath-taking and donning of ranks ceremony.

Of the total number, 246 took oath at the Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) headquarters in Camp Romeo Abendan, this city, while the remaining 423 took theirs at the headquarters of Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office (PPO), Zamboanga Del Sur PPO, Zamboanga del Norte PPO, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) and Isabela City Police Station.

Chief Supt. Billy Beltran, PRO-9 director, administered the simultaneous mass oath-taking and donning of ranks of the 246 newly-promoted uniformed police personnel in Camp Abendan.

Of the 246 newly-promoted, 130 are assigned with the PRO-9 and the remaining 116 personnel are assigned at the Regional Supports Unit and PNP-Special Action Force.

Beltran congratulated the newly-promoted PNP uniformed personnel composed of 41 Police Commissioned Officers and 628 Police Non-Commissioned Officer.
