A total of 79 drug suspects were arrested by authorities within three days amid the continuous implementation of the campaign against illegal drugs.
As of January 6 this year, 13 drug personalities were held in Pampanga, 10 in Nueva Ecija, 9 each in Bulacan and Cebu, 6 in Bacolod, and 4 in Pangasinan. The provinces of Cagayan, Bataan, Olongapo, and Davao City had 3 each. Tarlac, Negros Oriental, and Zamboanga City caught two personalities each within their areas.
At least one has been apprehended each in La Union, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Albay, Camarines Sur, Samar, Leyte, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Cotabato.
A total of ₱381,516 worth of suspected illegal drugs were confiscated in the operations conducted by authorities. – PTV News
