Lopez urges Plaza not to sensationalize CITIRA issue

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Director General Charito Plaza has expressed concern over the decrease in foreign direct investment in the country by 48.5% for the month of June. The PEZA encouraged Congress to look into the Corporate Income Tax and Incentive Rationalization Act (CITIRA) Law again, claiming that the uncertainties and unstable investment policies may have something to do with the exodus of a number of Chinese companies to nearby Southeast Asian nations .
