Palace clarifies: President Duterte did not order Loot’s ambush

The Palace clarified that Pres. Duterte did not order the ambush of Daanbantayan Mayor Vicente Loot. Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo stated that the Chief Executive merely misspoke the information, noting that the President’s first language is Visayan and is not a native speaker of Filipino.
