Philippines, India strengthen research ties

The Philippines and India have invigorated their partnership in various respects, including trade, the dairy industry, science and technology particularly data science research and analytics training. The Department of Science and Technology underscored that it will join hands with the Indian government to enhance the local analytics training and prepare Filipinos in the BPO industry for the entry of artificial intelligence. A memorandum of agreement between the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce Philippines and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry has been signed to strengthen the bilateral trade and people-to-people interaction between the two nations.
