President Duterte attends Japanese Emperor’s enthronement

Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has been forced to head home early from the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Naruhito due to a pain in his spinal column that got too hard to endure. Pres. Duterte traveled back to the Philippines this evening, October 22, 2019. According to Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, the ache shooting from near the pelvic bone was caused by the Chief Executive’s fall during a minor motorcycle accident. He will be consulting his neurologist tomorrow, October 23, 2019 but Panelo assured that the President is in good condition despite the back pain. Presidential daughter Inday Sara Duterte will attend the emperor’s banquet on behalf of her father.
