Philippines improves ranking in “ease of doing business” list

The Philippines jumped 29 places in the latest list of business- friendly countries.

According to World Bank’s “ease-of-doing-business” list, the Philippines is now in 95th place. We were lying in 124th place last year. The Philippines improved primarily in credit securing, protection of minority investors, and dealing with construction permits.

The Philippines is aiming to get to at least the 70th spot next year.
