President Duterte urges India to approve RCEF

President Rodrigo Duterte urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sign the soonest the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) as this will spur greatly the economic growth in the region and mitigate poverty and inequality there. Of the 16 nations, only India has concern on the 20 chapters of said free trade agreement.

Later in the evening today, November 04, 2019, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-member countries deliberate in the 3rd RCEP Summit where trade ministers present their stipulations on RCEP.
