The Cagayan province prepares for the onslaught of tropical storm Ramon. It has suspended the classes in all levels on the area, especially in light of the effectivity of public storm warning signal number 2 there. The member agencies of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and other rescue teams in Cagayan and Isabela are also on alert. The staffers of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, for their part, are packing relief goods to ensure the welfare of the residents.
