Bicameral Conference Committee convened to discuss 2020 national budget; Lacson, Cayetano settled SEA Games row

The Bicameral Conference Committee has convened to discuss the proposed 2020 national budget amounting to PHP 4.1 trillion. The session, however, was suspended immediately following the proposal of Albay Representative Edcel Lagman for a one-on-one meeting between House Appropriations Chairperson Isidro Ungab and his senate counterpart, Senator Sonny Angara.

Meanwhile, Senator Panfilo Lacson contextualized his statements with House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano whom also functions as chairperson of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee.
