Inter-agency Task Force for Emerging Infectious Disease releases resolution for travels in SoKor

The Inter-agency Task Force for Emerging Infectious Disease has released a resolution to guide the government agencies regarding the partial travel ban to South Korea.

In Resolution No. 8, all individuals, including their spouses, children, a permanent resident visa and diplomat visa holders, except for Filipino citizens, that will come from North Gyeongsang, Daegu, Cheongdon are not allowed to enter the Philippines.

Individuals with travel records from these places 14 days earlier will also not be allowed to enter.

In addition, all travels going to South Korea are temporarily suspended, except for the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) returning to that country for work, but they need to declare they are well aware of the threat in South Korea and the consequences that may befall them.

Students and permanent residents from South Korea are also exempted from the ban.

It is also in the resolution that a home quarantine for the local airline crew is mandatory, along with the monitoring of the task force in a span of 88 hours.

The resolution is to be effective as soon as possible.
