PRRD opposes ban on POGO

President Rodrigo Duterte has opposed the ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) in the Philippines despite controversies surrounding their operations.

According to the President, the funds from the POGO will go to waste if the operations are stopped. He says that problems regarding the POGO can be addressed and their transactions can be made legal.

The Chief Executive stated that he is not defending the POGO but is merely laying out the situation. He stressed that no corruption in the POGO will be allowed. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
