PNP hazard pay starts Thursday

Deployed Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel during enhanced community quarantine will receive hazard pay starting Thursday, April 16.

PNP Chief Police General Archie Gamboa has announced in a virtual presser every deployed police officer will receive PhP 500 per day as hazard pay.

PNP Chief Gamboa has also expressed his gratitude towards the PNP for its dedication amid the COVID-19 crisis.

“But needless to say, each and every member of the police force knows by heart the reason why we need to pass this way– because it is a professional calling and a sworn responsibility to serve, bestowed upon us by the people.” The PNP Chief added. – Report from Bea Bernardo
