The National Task Force for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) aims to localize the National Action Plan against COVID-19.

According to NTF Spokesperson Retired Major General Restituto Padilla, NTF Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea had a meeting with Metro Manila mayors to discuss the implementation of more stringent measures against the virus.

NTF Chief Implementer Sec. Galvez has also spoken with several Region 3 local chief executives and have agreed to adapt the Detect, Isolate, Treat, and Re-integrate approach.

The NTF has urged the Local Government Units (LGUs) to cooperate with the government to stop the spread of COVID-19 and to follow the 3 Ts which are Testing, Tracing, and Treatment.
