The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) reminded groups that plan to conduct relief operations to coordinate with LGUs, following the reported misuse of quarantine passes to get through checkpoints.
DILG USec. Jonathan Malaya said DILG Secretary Eduardo Aῆo has already ordered that all relief organizations must present a certification from the host LGU in response to the situation.
Malaya said the move is meant to prevent violations of the enhanced community quarantine protocols since going directly to the said areas “will violate our policy of ‘Stay at Home’,” mass gathering, and social distancing.
The DILG reminded that the implementation of the 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew will remain amid the extension of ECQ is some areas but it may depend on some LGUs since some have their own announcements.
